SpanCheck 1.2 beta
SpanCheck is a free program to check clearances for distribution line design for special cases such as road crossings, railroad crossings, or spans over buildings to ensure that the conductors, wires, or cables meet the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) clearance requirements.
SpanCheck will calculate the clearance at any point in the span from the conductor weight and tension from the cable sag chart, attachment heights, and ground-line information, or calculate the minimum clearance (worst case) for the entire span. SpanCheck is also useful for communication line and joint use line design.
